A digitally altered video of Ladakh DGP SD Singh is circulating on social media, falsely claiming that climate activist Sonam Wangchuk was arrested on Indian Defence Minister's orders without any evidence. "He has made no such comments," PIB fact-check unit clarified. Video comes after violent clashes between police and protesters during Leh demonstrations for Ladakh statehood on September 24.
