Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi announced an ex-gratia of ₹20 lakh for the family of 20-year-old student of Fakir Mohan (FM) Autonomous College in Balasore, who succumbed to burn injuries after setting herself on fire over alleged harassment. The amount will be provided from the CM's Relief Fund. Majhi has also assured strict action against those responsible for the incident.
