Fauja Singh, the 114-year-old marathon runner who died in a car accident in Punjab on Monday, had said in 2015 that he wanted to spend his last days in Britain's London. "Here (Punjab), there are bad elements everywhere. No one knows when they will stab, rob and hit someone and run away," he had said.
