Singer-rapper Fazilpuria had a narrow escape after unidentified assailants opened fire at him on July 14 near Gurugram. Sunil Sardhania has claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that the singer owed ₹5 crore to his friend, Deepak Nandal. "We had no other option," Sardhania said. Fazilpuria reportedly met Nandal in jail in 2010.
