FBI Director Kash Patel reportedly sacked a trainee agent for displaying a pride flag at his desk during a previous posting in LA. Though the dismissal letter didn't mention the flag, it cited "poor judgment" and "political signage". The trainee, recipient of Attorney General’s Award in 2022, was removed from FBI Academy on the first day of a government shutdown.
