The US FDA has expanded its health alert after detecting high lead levels in more ground cinnamon products. On October 11, HAETAE and Roshni brands were added to the list, following earlier alerts for Durra and Wise Wife brands. Since mid-2024, the FDA has flagged 16 cinnamon products with unsafe lead content, warning consumers that using these items may pose health risks.
