A female assistant engineer in Assam's Public Works Department (PWD) allegedly died by suicide and left behind a purported note accusing two senior officials of workplace pressure. She also claimed in the note that the duo pressured her to pass fraudulent bills, as per the police. The duo was arrested and is being questioned, a senior police official said.
