In Maharashtra's Jalgaon, 40 female vegetable vendors set aside their produce to help those in need. Since the year 2000, these women have been donating fresh vegetables to feed 125 underprivileged students living in support homes. Although they started their deed with helping five children, the number eventually increased over the span of 25 years.
