Morgan Stanley's Chief Equity Strategist of India, Ridham Desai, said foreign institutional investors (FIIs) are not investing in India as absolute valuations in the country have not moved. Another reason is the lack of AI-related trade or hype in the Indian market, he stated. He added that India's strong domestic investor base is also giving foreign investors tough competition.
