Filmmaker Manish Gupta has been booked for allegedly stabbing his driver with a kitchen knife after an argument over not paying latter's salary, a Mumbai Police official said. The driver Mohammad Lashkar worked with Gupta for three years, earning ₹23,000/month, which was allegedly never paid on time. Following the stabbing, Lashkar rushed to Cooper Hospital in auto-rickshaw and received treatment.
