AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj criticised the BJP-led government's verification drive to identify illegal Bangladeshi immigrants, saying, "Finally...government has woken up." He said AAP raised this issue for the last 10 years, while BJP leaders at that time spoke of giving facilities to them. Criticising the outcome, he added, "They found only 600 people...It seems this is done...for formality."
