Finance Ministry responded after US President Donald Trump's tariffs on Indian exports, saying an estimated 55% of merchandise exports to US will be hit. "Combination of different factors such as product differentiation, demand, quality, contractual arrangements would determine impact on India’s exports," the ministry said. It added government will take all steps to "secure our national interest".
