The Finance Ministry has asked public sector banks (PSBs) to focus on accelerating credit to MSMEs and the agriculture sector while sustaining growth in low-cost deposits and strengthening risk management. DFS Secretary M Nagaraju urged banks to bolster risk management and resilience.
