The Kerala Police have registered a suo motu FIR against Kerala Congress MLA Rahul Mamkootathil on charges including stalking and harassing women on social media. Mamkootathil was suspended from the party's primary membership after he stepped down as Youth Congress's state president, following allegations of sexual harassment from actress Rini Ann George, transwoman Avanthika Vishnu, and others.
