FSSAI has warned quick and e-commerce firms to not bypass food safety norms to support 10-minute deliveries, NDTV Profit reported. In a meeting with over 200 participants, FSSAI said companies can only sell food items with at least 30% of shelf life remaining or at least 45 days before expiry date. It also warned firms against making unsupported claims online.
