Railway Board of India has introduced a new direct train that will connect Bengaluru (Yeshwanthpur) to the city of Rishikesh in Uttarakhand. This will mark the first-ever direct connectivity between Karnataka and Uttarakhand, according to South Western Railway (SWR). SWR mentioned that this new service will make it easier for tourists from these major cities to travel to Rishikesh.
