A 21-year-old first-year MBBS student at Mumbai's JJ Hospital, Sunny Kavade, was found hanging in his hostel room. He had reportedly been depressed after failing some subjects and fearing supplementary exams. A friend discovered him after repeated knocks. Police registered an accidental death case, and counselling support has been arranged for students.
