Rising floodwaters stranded over 260 students and seven teachers on the campus of a Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College in Ramayampet, Medak. Floodwater entered the classrooms and the dining hall by mid-morning, creating panic among students and staff. The sudden appearance of snakes in the flooded waters further scared the already panicked students.
