Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Thursday declared August 1, 2025, as 'Hulk Hogan Day' in honour of the WWE legend, who was a resident of the state. Additionally, he directed that the flags of the US and Florida be flown at half-staff in Pinellas County and at the State Capitol in Tallahassee. Hogan passed away aged 71 on July 24.
