Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched a three-month nationwide awareness campaign about unclaimed assets, named 'Apki Poonji, Apka Adhikar (Your Money, Your Right)' from Gujarat. She said ₹1.84 lakh crore unclaimed assets were lying with banks and regulators and these should be returned to their rightful owners. "You come...with proper papers. Money will be given to you," she added.
