Guwahati has always been known as the city that lives by the Brahmaputra. On Friday, that connection grew even stronger as Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated two of the most ambitious urban projects Assam has seen in recent years: the Brahmaputra Riverfront–Sati Radhika Shaanti Udyan and the Gateway of Guwahati Terminal & Jetty.
