Union minister Nitin Gadkari said that food delivery economy is very important for job creation in India. Gadkari noted that India currently has 77 lakh delivery workers and it's expected to rise to 2.5 crore by 2030. He further expressed concerns over road safety issues faced by delivery workers due to the urgency of time-bound deliveries.
