J Beniks and his father, two shopkeepers had died in June 2020 in Tamil Nadu, following alleged custodial torture. Even after five years, there is no sign of verdict. The victims’ family and friends remain in distress, caught in an endless wait for justice. In connection to this, 10 police personnel were arrested and are currently lodged in Madurai Prison.
