Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph confirmed a forensic investigation is underway in the Jaipur hospital fire that killed eight patients. He added that initial suspicion points toward to a short circuit. The state government formed a committee to investigate cause of the fire, hospital response, and safety measures. The CM cancelled his Delhi trip to oversee the inquiry.
