Former Australian captain Steve Waugh has joined the board of the Centre for Australia-India Relations, set up in 2023 by the Australian government. Calling India his “second home”, he will visit next month for CAIR work, charity and business. Waugh said cricket remains the foundation of India-Australia ties, with new opportunities in education, culture and sport.
