Former Bangladesh President Mohammad Abdul Hamid reportedly left the country and fled to Thailand on a 3:05 am local time flight. Hamid, a member of the now-banned Awami League, served as the President for two terms. He is also a co-accused in at least one case of murder filed against ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her aides.
