Former MI6 informant Frederick Forsyth, known for authoring 'The Odessa File' and 'The Dogs of War', has passed away at the age of 86. He wrote his first novel, 'The Day of the Jackal', in 35 days. Forsyth had served in the Royal Air Force before transitioning to become a journalist, first working at Reuters and then at BBC.
