Four senior NSCN (R) cadres, including two Brigadiers wanted for the murder of shopkeeper Atar Sharma, were apprehended in a joint operation by Assam Rifles, Tirap Police, and ECIB in Arunachal’s Tirap district. The insurgents were caught with a vehicle, mobile phones, and bags. They were involved in multiple extortion and illegal tax cases, officials said.
