A residential building collapsed in Virar near Mumbai on late Tuesday night, leading to two fatalities and 11 injuries. A portion of Ramabai Apartment collapsed at about 11:30 pm. Rescue efforts by the NDRF, Fire Department, and Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation began immediately. Two NDRF teams were also dispatched from Mumbai and Palghar.
