Firefighters in southern France are battling to douse the country's biggest wildfire so far this year, local authorities said. The wildfire has already swept through an area bigger than Paris. One person has died, while another went missing. So far 13,000 hectares have burned, which is more than twice the area hit by wildfires in 2023.
