A fraudster posing as Lok Sabha MP from Andhra Pradesh's Kakinada, Uday Srinivas Tangella, on WhatsApp duped Srinivas Rao Gangisetti, CFO of Tea Time, into transferring ₹92.5 lakh into multiple accounts. Tea Time, a nationwide tea chain, was founded by the MP himself. The impersonator used the MP's DP on WhatsApp and introduced it as a "new number", police said.
