The central government has launched the Ayushman Vay Vandana Card under Ayushman Bharat, offering free health insurance worth ₹5 lakh annually for citizens above 70. Seniors can avail treatment for over 2,000 ailments, even alongside private insurance. Registration can be done via the PM Jan Arogya Yojana portal, Ayushman app, or nearest government hospital.
