Four-time Tour de France winner Chris Froome was involved in a serious crash in southern France and was airlifted to a hospital with severe injuries. The 40-year-old was rushed by helicopter on Wednesday afternoon after the accident near Toulon, located around 170 km from his home in Monaco.
