BJP leader Rakesh Tripathi reacted to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav's "old trick of the BJP to avoid losing elections" remark after ECI rescheduled UP Assembly by-polls. Mass organisations demanded a change of schedule due to Kartik Purnima fearing lesser voter turnout, Tripathi said. "SP is questioning ECI's intentions because it is frustrated. They are staring at their defeat," he added.
