A self-help group of 25 women, after realising that administration was not listening to their petition to pave an approach road for their Pichhulia village in Jharkhand, built the road themselves in four days. The women used money they got from Maiya Samman Yojana- a state scheme under which women between 18 and 50 are entitled to ₹2,500 each month.
