After a 3-day halt, fuel tankers are entering Nepal via Siliguri. Disruption was caused by intense protests across Nepal, which had brought traffic to a standstill and led to a severe fuel crisis. Nepal has always depended on India for fuel needs. Tankers cross Indo-Nepal border daily from Raxaul in Bihar, Gonda in Uttar Pradesh, and Siliguri in West Bengal.
