Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced a new Mumbai–Pune highway project that will reduce travel time between the two cities to just 1.5 hours. With infrastructure projects worth ₹2 lakh crore underway in and around Pune, this initiative is expected to ease traffic, boost connectivity, and accelerate regional development.
