Wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson recalled his conversation with India head coach Gautam Gambhir after he registered two straight ducks in T20Is against Sri Lanka in July last year. "I was a bit down in the dressing room...Gambhir told me 'I won't drop you even if you get 21 ducks in a row'," Gambhir said. Samson added that it boosted his confidence.
