Gameskraft, a Bengaluru-based real-money gaming firm, has laid off over 400 employees more than half of its estimated 600-strong workforce. The massive cuts follow India’s new Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, which upended its business. The company also faces a serious fraud probe involving its former CFO.
