Pune Collector Jitendra Dudi has announced a complete alcohol ban on August 27 (Ganesh Chaturthi) and September 6 (Anant Chaturdashi). Meanwhile, in central Pune, under Khadak, Vishrambag and Faraskhana police station limits, the ban will remain in effect for 10 days. Additionally, liquor shops along Ganpati immersion routes will remain closed on the 5th and 7th days of the festival.
