Harjit Kaur, the mother of Punjab-based gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria and a former village sarpanch, succumbed to gunshot injuries after being targeted by unidentified bike-borne assailants in Batala Gurdaspur, Punjab on Thursday night. The attack also claimed the life of her driver, Karanvir Singh. CCTV footage of the shooting has gone viral on the internet.
