Gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria's mother was shot dead by two motorcycle-borne assailants outside a bakery in Punjab's Batala on Thursday night. CCTV footage of the incident has been shared online. Bhagwanpuria, who is known for his involvement in organised crime, including drug trafficking, extortion and murder, was arrested in March this year.
