Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has thrown his weight behind the Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee's decision to name Shubman Gill as India's new ODI captain. He viewed the appointment as a strategic, long-term move, keeping in mind the 2027 ICC World Cup in South Africa. "I am sure it is a mutual discussion," Ganguly was quoted as saying by PTI.
