Garry Kasparov, one of the greatest chess players of all-time, who hails from Russia, defeated his Indian counterpart Viswanathan Anand 13-11 to win the Clutch Chess: The Legends 2025 title in Saint Louis. The 12-game Rapid and Blitz Chess960 match ended in a favour of Kasparov exactly 30 years to the day he had defeated Anand for the world title.
