The Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd has contracted a 2010-built Suezmax crude carrier of 164,715 dwt on August 25, 2025, expected to join by Q3 FY26. Along with a secondhand Kamsarmax bulk carrier contracted in July 2025, the fleet will expand from 38 to 40 vessels, aggregating 3.29 mn dwt, funded fully through internal accruals, with current utilisation near 100%.
