The Gen Z protests in Nepal have so far triggered insurance claims worth NPR 23.22 billion (over ₹1,451 crore), according to data from Nepal Insurance Authority. Non-life insurance companies have disbursed payments totalling NPR 1.58 billion (over ₹99 crore) as the country's insurance sector witnessed 3,099 protest-related claims. Motor insurances and contract risk insurances saw the most claims.
