A zoo in Nuremberg, Germany, culled 12 healthy Guinea baboons due to lack of space and overcrowding in their enclosures. The zoo said that the baboons were culled after no viable alternative for rehousing the animals could be found. People protested against the zoo's move, with one woman glueing her hands to the ground near the zoo's entrance in protest.
