Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) chief Ghulam Nabi Azad has decided not to contest the Lok Sabha elections, days after he filed his nomination. The former Congress leader was to contest the election from Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat. Azad had left the Congress in 2022, ending his five-decade-long association with the party.
