A giant sprite was seen over Slovakia skies, with astronomer and astrophotographer Stanislav Kaniansky capturing a photograph. Sprite is an exotic form of upward-directed lightning. "For a fraction of a second it towered over the landscape like a massive jellyfish," SpaceWeather reported.
