A young woman was allegedly attacked with acid by her own childhood friend following a fallout in their friendship. The incident took place on Sunday night in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh under the jurisdiction of Gwarighat police station. The victim, Shraddha Das, a BBA student, sustained severe burns after her neighbour and childhood friend Ishita Sahu hurled acid at her.
